SIMPLE CHURCH
BE A DISCIPLE, MAKE DISCIPLES, BRING THE KINGDOM EVERYWHERE WE LIVE, WORK, AND PLAY
The church is a group of baptized believers in the Lord Jesus Christ who meet regularly to worship, nurture one another (feed and grow one another), and fellowship (practice the “one another” statements of the Bible) and depart these gatherings endeavoring to obey all the commands of Christ in order to transform individuals, families, and communities.
What Are We Doing?
We are reimagining the church by forming simple, multiplying churches that meet in homes in every neighborhood in Houston County and beyond. These churches will engage their immediate community with prayer, the Gospel, and meeting the needs of those in their community.
Gospel City Church is a disciple-making community that coaches and trains a simple pattern of discipleship that anyone can use in one-on-one or group settings. Gospel City Church aims to normalize sharing the Gospel with the lost and broken, expecting the lost and broken to respond favorably to the Gospel, make multiplying disciples, and plant churches that plant churches.
What We Believe
We are a spirit-filled group of men and women that encountered Jesus, put their trust in Him, turned from their old way of life, and obeyed Jesus. As a result of our encounter with Jesus, we passionately and fearlessly compel others to join us as we follow Jesus.
